For Fall 2024, Timeless Tan made a strong statement on the menswear runways, with designers embracing the versatile shade through head-to-toe ensembles. Songzio showcased a classic tan hue, emphasising simplicity with clean silhouettes.
Meanwhile, Zegna, Loro Piana, Ami, and Fear of God layered different tan tones in elegant longline coats and tonal trousers, adding depth and sophistication. Saint Laurent took a tailored approach, incorporating tan into every detail—from the suit to the shirt and tie—creating a refined monochromatic effect.
The trend also leaned into more experimental shades: Rains introduced a tan with green undertones in oversized puffers, while Lemaire used a similar hue in layered casual looks, offering a relaxed take. Marine Serre added texture and intrigue by incorporating motifs, proving that tan can be anything but basic. With these diverse approaches, designers elevated tan from a neutral staple to a must-have colour story for the season.
The Fall 2024 collections demonstrated that tan is not just a colour, but a versatile foundation that can be adapted across aesthetics—from classic tailoring to modern outerwear.
